YES!! Tomorrow I am running my first race ever!! The Starlight Run 5k in Portland Oregon!
So, it is rather funny that my friend Tera and I keep talking about our "race" when we actually are not that interested or excited about the run but more the FUN!!! The Starlight Run will take place in Portland and it is part of the Rose Festival! We are stoked about running right before the parade starts and in the evening with some 100,000 people watching!!! =) Maybe we will even make it on the news!? =) How fun would that be!
So this year the theme is clowning around and Tera and I have been planning our outfits! Our shorts and our fun polka dotted and hot pink leggings....the rest will be figured out prior to the race tomorrow!
So Portland, rain or shine we are going to have FUN running the streets in front of spectators and being "stars" in the Starlight Run!
We shall see if our men will take some pics of us and go along for the ride.........=)
